William F. Buckley and Margaret Thatcher Discuss Socialism…

This interview is a classic from the father of modern day conservatism, William F. Buckley. He asks the question, “What is there to be learned from the failure of British socialism?” Apparently the rumors of the death of socialism were greatly exaggerated because it is obviously alive and well in America today.  Lady Thatcher’s words of wisdom are both timely and timeless. She mentions that we have stopped creating wealth, and our society has moved more and more away from what most would call a free society. Enjoy:
